Genuinely expected this to be some low-effort copy, but the NC template they got is legit. All the colors are on point and the dogwood flower looks real. I took it to a bar in Wilmington and the bouncer just scanned it and handed it back. I was sweating bullets but it passed. Appreciate the quick delivery on this one.
I even scanned my own barcode on my phone with a VIN scanner app and it hit exactly what it was supposed to. I thought maybe they’d get the info right but fuck the barcode wrong. The gold holographic state seal also shifts colors perfectly when you tilt it. I'm gonna send this to all my friends.
The polycarbonate feel is what got me. I've ordered from so many shitty vendors where the ID feels like a credit card or even a library card, but this one has that snap to it. The laser engraving on the birthdate is tactile and the cardinal watermark is sharp. Best one I've had for NC.
Waste your money somewhere else if you want. I compared this to a couple of 'big name' sites and this one is the only one that matched the microprint on the back and the UV outline of the state. The only issue was the courier lost my package for a day, but support replied immediately. Everything else is 5/5
Living in NC and using a SC id is the perfect play. A bouncer in Myrtle Beach scanned it and made a joke about the Palmetto state. We laughed, he took it, and let me in. The hologram on this is literally identical to a real one.
